This page showcases a collection of photographs I’ve taken of people from various places around the world, including Europe. Whether it was someone I encountered along the way, individuals who volunteered for a picture just for fun, or a few spontaneous moments captured here and there, these images represent the diverse faces and stories I’ve come across.

These two girls were among those who made me laugh the most. I was walking around Kos after dinner, taking photos. At the time, I still had my first DSLR, a Canon EOS 2000D. I was photographing the stairs and the white street when they suddenly appeared and began parading like two models in front of the lens. They never wanted to see the photos. All the better! They had become completely dark, and it took me some time to make them look like that.

I also captured this man on his scooter in Greece.
Somewhere in Rhodes, on a scorching day when I walked for miles under the sun, meeting people and seeing many wonderful things.
I was amused by this man’s kindness.

This girl on the pier in Rhodes watches the sunset, making the scene even more beautiful.
In the background, the sun disappears behind the mountains and the sea.
I love this part of Rhodes city.

One of my favourite airports is Vienna Schwechat. People stand in front of the large timetable, waiting for their flight.

This little boy with his scooter is truly wonderful. He looked as if he were just waiting for me to take a nice picture of him. He is definitely an adult now, and perhaps he even has a family and children of his own. Who knows, perhaps I will come across this photo of him one day.

I also really like this photo, although it was taken with my smartphone. I was on the beach during the final hours of a trip to Rhodes, Greece, when I noticed a man shouting at his daughter on the seashore.

This is the girl from Mykonos, bathing alone at sunset.
The reflections on the sea and the tranquillity, which contrast with the chaos of the village preparing for the evening’s movida, give me a great sense of peace.
I love the feeling it conveys.

The Cyclades are a guaranteed spot for photos.
A few metres after the girl in the photo above, this couple sat on a rock directly in front of the setting sun.
I wonder whether they were arguing or flirting.

Here we are on the island where I have taken more photos of people than anywhere else: Koufinissi.
It is wonderful in every way.
This is a group of people at sunset.
A tree alters their silhouette.
The sunset colours are magical.

The lady with the bread from Koufonissi is an incomplete image that, unfortunately, my Canon cannot capture.
Waking at dawn to visit the island bakery for breakfast, I passed the village elders walking through the still-deserted streets.
This is one of the ladies who went out to get bread.
Her greeting and the freshness of the locals cannot be photographed.
This is the best I could capture.

Here we are at Playa de Cofete in Fuerteventura on Christmas Day a few years ago.
A girl braves the wind and waves to take photographs.

Please note that the photos are in chronological order; I am not posting them randomly. So, please excuse me if I appear to jump from one place to another without clear reason. These are four children near the typical white steps in the centre of Lindos, Rhodes, Greece. It is late at night, and this is probably their meeting point.

This photo makes me laugh so much.
It did not turn out very well, but I was walking around Akrotiri, a very charming village in Santorini.
The girl with the ice cream was caught by the wind at the top of the village, and her dress started flapping.
She seems unsure whether to take care of the ice cream or her dress.

El Cotillo in Fuerteventura is also a great choice if you want to take beautiful photos.
The first is of a van at sunset, parked near Piedra Playa (my favourite beach).
The second is in the centre of town, illuminated by the streetlights.
A marvel.

This is nothing less than Perth – a dream I realised a year ago. People walk along the banks of the Swan River at sunset. You cannot understand the beauty of this place.

This is another couple of lovers by the sea.
We are in Freycinet National Park, Tasmania, Australia.
I was heading back to the main road when this paradise appeared, and I could not help but stop.

I must have taken a million photos of myself during my travels.
Not because I feel particularly glamorous, but to create memories and, above all, because a photographer friend told me years ago that one way to remain immortal (among many, I think) is to use photography as a medium.
This is my favourite photo of myself because I realised a dream: going to Australia and, something I never thought possible, holding a baby kangaroo in my arms.
That is all for now.
I will add more, of course.
The world is vast, and there are so many places I still want to see.
